New York Times Uses President Buhari's Picture For A Ghanaian News

It's no new thing that foreign newspapers do make blunders about reporting news in Africa most especially Nigeria and mistaking a nearby country with it.

There was a time when CNN made this blunder during the ebola outbreak period with Nigeria and Niger.

This time around, it's New York Times turn to make this silly mistake using president Buhari's family picture for a Ghanaian news report about "Britain accusing some lawmakers from Ghana of falsifying visa documents for family members".

Trust Nigerians, they blasted the hell out of NY times on Twitter.

ALLEGED RAPIST ARRESTED AFTER FALLING ASLEEP IN VICTIM’S HOUSE IN SOUTH AFRICA

The Police in Waterval outside Makhado, South Africa have arrested a 27-year-old man for raping a 25-year-old woman.

It is alleged that the victim was sleeping in the early hours of Saturday, April 8th, when the suspect broke into her home and entered her room where he threatened her and raped her.

After the ordeal, the suspect fell asleep, the victim escaped and called the Police.
The Police reacted swiftly and found the suspect still asleep and arrested him. The suspect will appear before the Waterval Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 10 April 2017 facing charges of housebreaking and rape.

Police investigations are still continuing.

So funny, lol... Aguy went to gtb to do all thse just because of N275?

I went to a GTBank branch yesterday at Ojodu Berger........

I took 5 deposit slips.......

Then I looked at the counter to see which of the accountants had the best pen.......

I sighted one and fortunately she wasn't using it so i asked to borrow it and she gave it to me......

Then I went to the water dispenser and drank chilled water to my satisfaction........

I went to the convenience,used it and refused to flush after use........

I sat down close to the AC to feel the cool breeze cool my brain while I looked around for any available sockets to plug my phones, Power Bank,headset and Laptop........

After an hour I decided to take my leave without returning the pen intentionally......

At the door, I asked the security man where the trash can was and he showed me........

I broke the pen and tore all the 5 deposit
slips into bits and scattered it on the floor👍🏿...............

Now that's my own little way of PAYBACK for the 275 naira 'Service Fee' you guys deducted from my account
this month!!!!!!!!!!.😡😡😡😡😡

Man Goes To Prison For 2 Months For Stealing N170

A Karmo Grade I Area Court, Abuja, on Tuesday sentenced one Wisdom Gabriel, 22, to two months imprisonment for stealing N 170 at a chemist’s shop in old Karmo Market.

The judge, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq, however, gave the convict N5,000 option of fine.
The judge said that the sentence would serve as a deterrent to others that may be tempted to commit similar crime. Gabriel who resides at Aiko Estate, Life Camp Gwarinpa, pleaded with the judge to tamper justice with mercy.

He was found guilty on a count charge of stealing a box containing N170. The convict told the court that satan pushed him into the crime.

Earlier, the prosecutor, Zannah Dalhatu, told the court that one Helen Atusu of old Karmo arrested and brought the convict to Karmo Police Station, on March 24, 2017.

Dalhatu said that the complainant said that on the same date, the convict broke into her chemist’s shop at old Karmo Market and made away with her box containing N170.

She raised an alarm which led to the arrest of the convict with the help of one chukwuma Eze. The prosecutor said that the offence is punishable under Section 287 of the Penal Code.
