Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli has been hit with a three game Euro ban after his red card at Wembley last month.
It means Alli will miss half of Tottenham's Champions League Group stage campaign if they reach UEFA's top competition next season.
It is a big punishment by UEFA designed to send a strong message after Alli's tackle on Brecht Dejaegere.
Alli apologised afterwards and Tottenham tried to argue down the punishment this week but UEFA's Control, Ethics and disciplinary Board dished out the punishment.Labels: latest, sport
